Who we are
AshTree Art Glass was founded by lead glass artist Ashley, who began his journey into lampworking in 2015. A self-taught artist, Ashley dedicated years to refining his craft through practice and experimentation, eventually launching AshTree Art Glass in 2016 with the opening of his first studio.
In 2019, Ashley sustained a spinal injury while moving an anvil, which forced him to pause his work during the pandemic. Despite the setback, his passion for glasswork never wavered.
Following a long period of recovery and physical therapy, AshTree Art Glass proudly reopened in 2025. The studio is now a family-run business, with Ashley joined by his husband Charles as Business Manager and sister-in-law Lucy as Jewellery Designer and Head of Marketing.
Together, they bring creativity, resilience, and a shared vision to every piece they create.
